“Gorgeous room with luxurious bathroom. Loved the extra touches like posh hot chocolate and biscuits as part of the tea and coffee supplies in room and water, milk and orange juice in fridge in room. Selection of books to read on shelf and safe for security. Location is fab. Right in the centre of Barmouth. Brilliant free car park and gorgeous breakfast.”

“The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ ”

“Room spacious and comfortable with extras like tea/coffee/water well stocked. Bath was nice to have but also a powerful shower. Food is good although service stops a little early - especially on Sunday. Breakfast very good - all cooked to order.”

“Stayed on the ground floor. Had a double bed in one room with access to the bathroom. two singles beds sofa comfy chair, tv microwave fridge in another room and access to an outside large patio area. Beds were very comfy rooms were clean, tea and coffee making facilities were supplied with a bottle of milk left in the fridge for us with 3 bottles of water. Breakfast was great fruit juices, cereals and full English cooked fresh. Will definitely stay here whenever I come back to……

“Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...”
