“Second trip staying here. I was assigned 1st level which is the entrance to the Inn off the parking area. The weather was winter storm-like with much wind. The room had two beds and two windows looking over the side exit stairs.The Inn was busy with families it was school vacation. Upstairs the check in desk and kitchen and dining areas were warm and cozy. “Guess what? I literally never stayed in the hotel. I didn't even breathe any of the atmosphere that was anywhere close to the hotel. Why the five stars? Because the customer service from Christopher at the front desk was the most top notch intergalactic experience from a place that I literally never stayed.. “Motel is a cute older-style motel with no-frills rooms. Rooms are safe, clean, comfortable, and good sized! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations around town. Where this property really shines is location! Minute’s walk to everything in town, it’s hard to beat this location, especially for the price.”

“We had 4 adults and on 4-year old. The house and bedrooms were perfect for our group. It gave us a good base for 3 days in the area - first time on Schoodic Peninsula. Short drive to Bar Harbor for more sights, shopping and eating. Pretty crowded, but manageable. We would do it again! ”

“This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. ”
