“Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were the perfect size for our group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. “We had 4 adults and on 4-year old. The house and bedrooms were perfect for our group. It gave us a good base for 3 days in the area - first time on Schoodic Peninsula. Short drive to Bar Harbor for more sights, shopping and eating. Pretty crowded, but manageable. We would do it again! ”

“This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. ”
