“The owners were very careful to tell us that the place was rustic. Only solar power and gas heating and cooking. We were there for our 13 year old granddaughter to hunt for a buck. Saw many deer, but never a buck! It is a very old house and quite interesting. If you can't stand bugs, this is not the place for you. The owners are always close by and available if any problems arise. ”

“The place was clean and very comfortable if you want to get away from the city. Nice fireplace, but the places in town are charging $8. for a small bundle of wood. Bring your own. We will probably rent it in the summer to get out of the heat. ”

“Lovely home, great for 3 couples. Did a “Friendsgiving” weekend. Close to town, enjoyed game room. Oven was frustrating. Could not see what temp. oven was at. It ended up working out fine, just took a bit longer. Also could not get master fan to work. Overall enjoyed our stay. ”
