“I was captivated by the photos and the description of this property when I was looking for a quiet country spot for us to return to the Wild Atlantic Coast for my Christmas-Birthday. It is actually the only one I reviewed…you had me at hello! Though rustic, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The setting is gorgeous and we enjoyed interacting with the sheep, working dogs, and neighbors as we took long strolls down the very narrow lane. The proprietor was friendly and……

“If you’re looking to escape the world and step into a serene space look no further. Titanic cottage is a perfect mix of old world charm and modern amenities/aesthetics. It was the perfect escape—quiet, removed from the hubbub, but still close to restaurants and other conveniences. It was also the perfect location for making day trips to the most breathtaking scenery (Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara Valley drive, cliffs, etc.). We had everything we needed—and nothing we didn’t. We found the cottage……

“We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary……

“Location of property was perfect, right in the town centre. It was large enough for 5 adults and 6 kids. Layout is slightly awkward in terms of kitchen at one end of the apartment and living room at opposite end. Besides that point, we loved it! ”

“The photos do not do the cottage and surroundings justice as whilst they are spectacular the “real” thing is breathtaking. Everything you need is there. State of the art appliances, lots of cutlery and cookware and more than enough hot water. The log fire 🔥 is hypnotic and adds an extra ambience. The house was immaculately clean and so easy to find and checkin was very easy. We will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪❤️”
