Charming town with good shops and pubs is a 10 minute walk away but would recommend driving if your doing some shopping ”
“Excellent hotel in Westport- Great location and very nice staff. We really enjoyed the pool/spa facilities and had lovely walks through the estate grounds into town. Highly recommended, and we would not hesitate to return. ”
“Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions.
Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining.
Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one.
Overall good value for the money.”
“This hotel is so well-kept and gorgeous. It had the feeling of being in a castle, but the rooms had modern bathrooms and were very spacious. The grounds were amazing, the view from the dining room was spectacular, and the price for the stay was very reasonable. I wish we had more time at this hotel, but we could only stay one night. ”
“My husband and I stayed here on a day we went to Achill Island. We only stayed one night here. They have a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, you do have to make a reservation but we were able to easily make a reservation when we arrived to the hotel. We are in the bar area and the food was very good. The view was beautiful. At night our room got pretty chilly and we weren’t able to figure out how to turn the heat up but we were okay. In the morning we decided to sleep in and missed the……
