“Took my first solo trip with just my dog and I to do some hiking/exploring. This was the perfect little getaway spot for us. It was very cozy and we loved exploring the property! “The cabin was clean, and the air conditioning great. It rained but the covered deck made it possible to sit outside and relish in the beautiful views of the river. We saw an eagle fly overhead and land in a tree across the river. Was quite surprised that there wasn't more wildlife. Spiders (brown recluse and others) and wasps were a bit of a nuisance, the deck and outside area could use a good sweeping. Overall...it was just what we needed, a nice place to kick back, relax and enjoy the……

“Michelle was an excellent host. She was very friendly and talked to us each day we were there. Just so you know, this is a cabin. There is no running water or toilet. There is a shower house and port a john. Both were very clean and we really enjoyed the cabin itself. There is a nice porch, a covered porch and plenty of room for two adults and two kids (it was just us when we stayed. There is a ton of open space to hike and wander, like 100 acres worth. Pro tip- you need to bring your own……

“Came to explore Hocking Hills & visit son at OU. Loved the trails on the property to take my 2 dogs instead of taking to HH, it is very well cleared and signed! Found the property & house well maintained and clean. I was able to cook meals there, so kitchen does have what you need! I appreciated the covers for the furniture, I had brought with me but was able to just use what was there. After hiking the hot tub was so nice. We will definitely stay here our next visit!”
