“The cottage was great - exactly what you see on the pictures. It was clean, everything worked, and it looked like the host really cares about the property. We had 3 and it was perfect - would be very cozy for 5 or 6. We stayed in March so kind of a between season. Given the remote location, having a kitchen that allows real cooking was a huge plus for us. We will be back!”

“Location on white sand beach was superb. Best time I’ve ever had in the Keweenaw. Campfires on beach every night. Plenty of wood and tinder. Lighting in house isn’t good for reading. Lights over sink and table were hard to turn on. Appliances could have been cleaned better. Overall house condition average at best”

“Beautiful location; short walk to the beach and pretty centralized in the Keweenaw Peninsula, so it's convenient for seeing the whole area. Not much to do in Eagle River, but we liked how calm town was so you could go see the rest of the area and come back and relax. The house is the perfect size for a small family or group and the decorating makes it feel comfy and inviting. ”

“The location couldn't have been better. The weather was exceptional for outdoor activity. The accommodations were clean and well appointed with everything we needed to cook at home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck hoping to see wildlife but didn't. We did have a visitor one night. One morning we woke up to the lock on the garbage container broken and knocked over with bear paw prints as evidence, but no bear in sight.
