“The location couldn't have been better. The weather was exceptional for outdoor activity. The accommodations were clean and well appointed with everything we needed to cook at home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck hoping to see wildlife but didn't. We did have a visitor one night. One morning we woke up to the lock on the garbage container broken and knocked over with bear paw prints as evidence, but no bear in sight. “The location was wonderful. Right on the shores of Lake Fanny Hooe. Within walking distance to nearby restaurants. I had made an error with the days we would be staying, and it was easy to go online and also call to be sure my days of stay could be changed. They were very helpful and accommodating. However, we were a little disappointed with our room. It was pretty run down and outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable. “The area is fantastic! Now the check was a little different. We showed up at 5pm and this was considered late check in. I looked on the door and they had a sign pointing to a stack of envelopes and find our name in the stack. That's was fine, we found our condo it would have been nice to have a map in the envelope, we had never been there before but we found it ok it was close by. Now the condo was shall we say interesting. It is dated and I really wasn't expecting posh luxury in the northern……

“The setting is amazing and the view out the deck is unbeatable. Old and rustic. We didn't have a shower curtain and slipped on the wet bathroom floor (I just had shoulder surgery). No cell and poor internet but hey you don't those anyway in this area. ”

“The Copper Harbor Peninsula is so quiet this time of year, exactly what I was looking for. The well-equipped house was easy to find and access and perfectly set up. It was just me this trip - hoping to spot some aurora - and this was a perfect getaway. The view of the lake was great, I enjoyed the deck on the couple days weather allowed.
