“We travelled in a group of seven and stayed in Artist Residence for three nights in The Cottage and a double room. The Cottage was fantasy and comfy for family, it had three bedrooms and accomodate for 6 people. The design is amazing! We can even cook for dinner and breakfast in The Cottage.”

“Hosts Jan and Peter were fab and made you feel at home straight away. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean with kettle, tea and coffee. The fridge was replenished every day with water, milk fruit juice and other breakfast items. Beechwood house is ideally positioned for bus and train into St Ives with some local restaurants locally. We will be definitely returning in the future.”

“Good convenient location, clean room, comfortable bed. Jackie was helpful & very welcoming. There is public car park next to property so it can be a bit noisy from the road but it didn't troubled me much. I would recommend this guest house and happily book again if I travel to Newquay again.”

“Nice area to stay if you want to be close to carbis bay beach and st. ives. Excellent bed and bedding, we enjoyed the countryside view, end quietness. although the cows woke us up one morning 😊. More than helpful Lorena responded very quickly and sufficiently. Hairdryer was one love. There was no hob which I needed, but maybe it’s ok as if someone will fry meal the room could get sticky with fat 😅 Good value for money. We can return. Highly recommended. ”

“Hosts are very friendly and accommodating making guests their priority. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety to choose from. Good location with only a 5 minute walk to the beach promenade and for visits to other beauty spots.”

“The room was comfortable, particularly the bed, although we did find some broken plastic under the sheet, not sure where it came from. There was no hot water from the sink even after running the tap for a while and the cistern to the toilet kept running after it had filled up. Saying all of that we would probably stay again.”

“Very quiet House in the hills above Penzance. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is provided in the rooms with a small kitchen. Muesli, cornflakes, coffee and tees, fresh fruits and bread are available. ”

“The best place to stay in Bude. Beautiful, clean rooms (including a bar of Dairy Milk 👌) and I can highly recommend the breakfast.”
