“Cottage is very well equipped right in the middle of Looe. Easy to park to unload - and about 10-mins walk to the main car park. Nice sitting on the bench outside!”

“A fantastic stay in the heart of St Ives We loved our time at 5 Lyonesse Apartments! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, train station and cultural high points like Tate Gallery St. Ives. The apartment was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy and the apartment was lovely. A great base for exploring the town and coastline. The owner was also very accommodating and helpful whose help we appreciated greatly. Highly……

“This small house has lovely views over Looe and is a good base for exploring the area. The house though wouldn’t suit everyone. Access to the house is via a steep narrow staircase. The main bed is comfortable. The bunk though would probably only suit children. Certainly it would not suit someone who is heavy or tall. The house is quite well kitted out but anyone staying for any length of time would likely need to buy things like shampoo and soap. All we got were three small sachets for three……

“Fantastic location, plenty of parking, everything you need (home from home) However the property is tired and needs some tlc. The garden is overgrown and the hedges are unkept which obstruct the sea views. Overall I would definitely recommend the property. ”

“- Cottage is really beautiful, very good for a say with kids. - Communication before and during the stay was perfect, very supportive. - Everything you need is there, even a little supermarket, pub and restaurant. - Beautiful landscape, walk to the next (sandy) beach is less than 30min. - For bigger activities like visiting castles, gardens, ... “The place was cheap, but I would say bad value for money for a number of reasons, outlined belowBad - black mould on bedroom curtains- Black mould in the bathroom- Loose wooden planks in the bathroom- Lots of Cobwebs in every room and in the cupboards, even immediately after checking in- Cabinet in bathroom was loose- Not enough toilet roll- No salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers- No bar or shop on site, despite this being advertised- No member of staff seen on site- Very poor……

“A nice cosy cottage, although kitchen was a bit small, it had all the amenities, a few basics like sugar, teabags, pepper, were missing, but overall we had a nice relaxing stay.”
