“My wife, myself, and an adult daughter stayed at ShiShi's cottage for five days at the end of January 2025. The cottage is very "homey" and cozy - very easy to settle in. There was plenty of space, and the upstairs bedroom was a good "work from home" room for our daughter. There wa an abundance of cooking and kitchen utensils, though we didn't use them a lot, as there were plenty of nearby restaurants to try. “This cottage is a wonderful, quiet and private place to stay. A full kitchen with all the essentials. It felt like home. The owners were dog friendly, the small yard fully fenced and my Aussie had a wonderful time. As a dog owner I also made sure that I had multiple covers for furniture and bed. We want to be invited back for our next visit. Easy walking to coffee and restaurants.”

The overstuffed chair could have used an ottoman because the chair height was uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Another condo chair or a love seat would have been great. “Excellent location: walkable to downtown; easy access to US highways for day trips (w/in one hour of the coast); quiet, quaint neighborhood. Excellent property: immaculate, well-furnished; kitchen modern, spotless, a cook's heaven--you could effortlessly prepare and host a seven-course, Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. “I get down to Corvallis periodically with a friend to watch Beaver games (football, baseball, basketball), and we generally stay in a hotel downtown. We won't do that again now that we discovered Mary's property. It was more economical and much more comfortable to stay in. The property was immaculate and offered the 2 of us plenty of room to relax before and after the game. This will be the first place we check when looking for a place to stay when we visit Corvallis in the future.”

“What a quiet and relaxing weekend! Mr Donovan and his property are just truly amazing! We had a lovely stay in this rustic place. Everything was comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook simple meals and just hang out. We enjoyed walking the property and surrounding neighborhood, and I really loved Looking at his pottery shop and talking with Mr. Donovan. We got a kick out of him riding his giant 3 wheeled bike with his dogs! What a friendly, wonderful man! FYI, there’s no streaming……
