“Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful; breakfast was an order the day before option but a good selection and of good size and reasonable quality. The day I had to leave before breakfast time a bacon sandwich was made for me and available for me to take on my early departure. A nice touch was the complementary biscuits, bottled water and hot chocolate sachets in the room were replenished daily. “Great location and very comfortable, modernised room! The major disappointment was the ongoing construction work which I understand cannot be helped but this impacted the “sea view” which I paid extra for as my view was more scaffolding bars and beams rather than the sea!”

“The pod is in an amazing location but unfortunately needs a lot of work to make it worth the money! The pod is located down a driveway with no direction whatsoever, luckily a gentleman was there to show us where to go. A lot of groundwork going on which made it very dirty with uneven ground. The steps up to the pod were rotten. The toilet/shower door wouldn’t close as the hinges were bent. There isn’t much privacy in the toilet a small curtain or blind wouldn’t go a miss. It needs a good clean……

“It was a lovely location and we loved how unusal the property was. However, the kitchen equipment was poor. We couldnt cook a breakfast as there was only a wok (which stuck badly) and a tiny saucepan. There was a log burner but no wood supplied which was a shame and only half a loo roll supplied for a two night stay. Would this put us off. No, we would just bring our own utensils next time. ”
