“The hotel was very nice and clean. We stayed two nights and loved that our dog friendly room was near an exit and had a sliding glass door to let her out as well as unload the car. Fabulous! The breakfast was decent. Fun to walk through the halls of the hotel and see the placards with the famous people who slept there in the past with the movie posters accompanying the signage. The hotel is close to many of the great attractions in Canon City. ”

“This is my favorite place to go with my dogs when I head to the mountains. I enjoy hiking nearby and hanging out by the river in Salida, but this can leave all of us a bit messy. No worries, at the Loyal Duke, their accommodations are perfect. The bathrooms are older, but clean. The office/ breakfast setup is easy, and I had options of being inside or out for breakfast. I love the simple, updated decor in the room, and will be back again! Not to mention the very nice woman at the desk!!!”

“Bedding and towels were fresh and clean. It was a very cozy cabin with a good heater and fireplace, warmed up quickly. Great convenient location, private, quiet, and comfortable furniture with TV in the living room. Bed was very comfortable! I would stay there again and would recommend it.”
