“I really enjoyed my 4-night stay at the hotel. Honestly I did not expect much when I booked it. But everything exceeded my expectations. Room is clean, spacious and quiet. The location is convenient. The services were excellent. The front deck lady went above and beyond to accommodate my request for room change. Breakfasts were excellent with good choices of variety. I will definitely stay here for my next hiking trips.”

“Clean and nicely designed space. Grocery store one block and access to downtown Salida perfect. Dog friendly, but no yard or grass close by. Dedicated parking too small for our vehicle and unable to use.Great space!”

“The room was very spacious and clean. Finding a place to stay as a family with 4 kids isn't always easy, but our room had a king bed, pull out couch/bed, and full size bunk beds. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be staying here the next time we come through. Only complaint was that it wasn't ready at check in time, but the staff was very nice and reassuring while we waited. The strawberry waffles at breakfast are just the icing on the cake for this hotel!”

“We so enjoyed the river, views, fishing, hammocks and lawn at River Haven that, other than a few planned activities, we spent most of our time there. The deck and hot tub were great. We had nice summer weather and the A/C was good. The window fan was all we needed to cool the guest house. Enjoyed croquet, cornhole and other games provided. Also brought our own hummingbird feeders and drew in so many we hated taking them down. Maybe the owners will leave some for future guests... so easy to make……
