“Start with the not positive, the house is located in a valley so winter weather made the roads not so great. The freezer could have been cleaner and lack of local stations made following weather and watching football games tough. The internet is not great.... Other than that, our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our needs, warm, loved being on the river, and comfy couches. The little touches took it over the top. “My family and I traveled to Webster Springs for Christmas. My husband and I grew up in this area. The house is located about 2-3 miles from my parents, so the overall location was wonderful. The house is spacious, has the amenities that you would anticipate, plus it had quite a few things that were unexpected . Kara was wonderful to answer questions prior to the trip and the entire time we were there. We will definitely return!”

“Great showers, lots of state parks within 1.5 hours. Didn’t use the house much as we were out and about. Appears fully stocked but we do bring our own food and cooking items. Only hiccup was the gas tank for the grill was under the gas fire pit and we didn’t know that until after cooking inside. Great place, would liked to have had more time in the house and area but, too busy elsewhere.”

“If you want to get away from the world and have your own land with your own lake this is your place. The scenery and location of this house is EXACTLY what we needed. The small local town near by couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. The owner of the VRBO went above and beyond for us and made us feel totally at home. I would go back there today if I could. ”

“It was great. As motorcycle riding friends, the location was in close proximately to incredible riding every day. The home was incredibly clean and communication with the property manager was outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We stayed from Fri to Sun. Location has beautiful views of WV, some great trails, plenty of firewood and firewood ring locations to choose from as well as a pond with kayaks and paddle board. This is a location to disconnect as cell signal is poor. Owner does provide WiFi but only at certain public locations. Be aware there was no hand soap”
