“This was a last minute impromptu trip and I am really glad we chose this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and reasonably priced and the room was lovely. “Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.”

“The room was great, lovely quiet location and staff were very helpful. Having the suite was a real treat although a shelf or platform by the freestanding bath and extra toiletries would have been nice. The property is ideal for an exclusive break but looking a bit tired in places, they could make much more of the gardens, which looked rather unkept, but perhaps the time of year was a factor. Unfortunately the fine dining options were not available, which for a bank holiday weekend was……
