“Absolutely loved our stay at the bluebonnet cottage! Was a perfect oasis for a quiet romantic get away. Only suggestion would to light the trail to the bluebonnet as well as signage for that location like the rest. And steps for the hot tub at the bluebonnet cottage it was really hard to get in and out of. Plan to make it a yearly trip! ”

“It was a great stay! We were there for the 4th of July and then we were going to head to San Antonio the next day. The flood happened so we decided to stay another night!! Very clean rooms! I’d go back. ”

“This is a family-owned enterprise and it clearly shows in the fine details. Everything was clean, not just the rooms. The hallway was clean. The hotel kitchen for breakfast was clean. The elevator, pool, even the parkinglot was clean! At one point, while outside, I saw the owner's father was milling around checking on the plants and pool, making sure everything was in perfect order. Coffee in the lobby was still available at checkout time, and it was good. I had a drive ahead of me so this was……

“Stayed 2 nights at this historic property. It was such an amazing experience to be in Teddy Roosevelt's private train car and there were many little details scattered throughout. Having 2 restrooms was nice. Definitely a must for a very unique place to stay in Fredricksburg, TX.”
