“The grounds are really great, with plenty of firepit areas, a creek, and a manicured lawn. And the location to downtown (2 blocks) is very convenient. The rooms need some work. Squeaky, sticky doors, shower control valve not secured properly. Be careful pulling into the large parking area. Very steep incline. Breakfast was more than adequate; eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, biscuit, pastries, yogurt, fruit. At night you might catch a glimpse of hundreds of fireflies or lightning bugs. ”

“It was a clean hotel, super close to Main Street where all the shopping is at. Less than 5 minutes to a Walmart & HEB in the other direction. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Our room was close to the elevator but we heard no noise at all. “It was a cute and cozy old cabin, in a good location, but you could make some improvements. They put the cheapest toilet paper and paper towels. Also the toilet had low pressure to flush.
