“Nestled quietly off the road, it provides a nice quiet retreat that is close to mammoth cave and other attractions. Cell signal is not so much but that’s no worry. We went in early February, 40s-50s. A extra blanket is provided but we didn’t need it. Nice bathroom.”

“Quick 4 day trip to Mammoth Cave area with my spouse and best friend from the Army. Great location although a bit close to the road for the paper thin “soundproofing”. Road noise doesn’t bother me much but shared wall neighbors and “thin walls” is a nightmare. Not only is it annoying hearing them but I feel super awkward the entire time trying to be quiet knowing they can hear us and that’s not an enjoyable way to spend vacation time. “We drove over from Knoxville to enjoy Mammoth Cave for the weekend. Todd is a very communicative host! He informed me that Wanderlust (our original reservation) had roof damage but their adjacent unit (listed as “Quiet Apartment” in Brownsville) was available. The “Quiet Apartment” (also called Hickory and Bee) was lovely and we were thankful for the option to stay there.Mammoth Cave Visitor’s Center is about 20 minutes away and there are so many tour options, make sure to book ahead! “This was such a cute apartment to stay in. Very close to Mammoth cave national park and other nearby attractions. It was cozy and had all the basic needs. Property owner was prompt to our needs and accommodating. Owner also had good recommends for Ace coffee and Cave city pizza which were both delicious. I would stay there again if ever in cave city.”
