“Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. “The purpose of my stay in Castle Cary was to go visit the Newt in Somerset.I was warmly greeted and thanks to Martin’s lifts to and from the Newt made it so easy.the house is amazing.the garden backs unto fields.It is idyllic. I recommend this B&B to anyone who loves a beautiful setting”

“Despite the proprietor being busy serving in the pub, he greeted me, booked me in and directed me to my room. He requested and noted the time I required breakfast the following day. Next morning, he greeted me and directed me to the breakfast room, when he took my order and served up a perfectly cooked meal within a most acceptable time. An excellent experience.”
