Location is in the town, so inevitably some traffic noise specially early morning. Take earplugs if that tends to disturb you. Very friendly staff and good breakfast available from 7am, which was handy as I was travelling further on for a meeting. Highly competitive b&b rate.”

“Characterful hotel with lovely spa & gym facilities. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some referbishments. Our original assigned room was not made up when we got up to it and had to go back to reception. This seemed like a complete shock to the person on reception but the dirty linens were still on the floor, the un-made duvet and pillows were thrown on the bed and there was rubbish and used items from the tea set about the room. After the receptionist made a few quick phone calls we were……
