“We had an amazing weekend at John's farmhouse. The old farmhouse has so much character and the antiques were just wonderful. Watching the sunrise every morning come over the mountain was just amazing. If you are looking to get away to a place that's quiet, peaceful and tranquil then you need to stay at John's. The creek runs through the property and is a lovely walk. We will definitely be coming back. ”

“Very charming home. Lots of land and privacy to enjoy the outdoors. Even with the snow and ice, we did not have any issues driving up to the house. The ponds were frozen when we were there so we could not fish, but we really enjoyed target shooting and walking through the snowy trails. We saw lots of deer and animal trails:) The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Stores were close if you need anything. Our family had 3 adults a teenager and a pre-teen. Everyone enjoyed……

“Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay on this lovely farm! The cottage is authentic, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.”

“This was our second trip to Luray, first was about 6 years ago. The location is just where we wanted to be, in the country. Lots of Deer and Turkey were just next door and the Skyline Drive was only a few miles away, so riding my motorcycle to and from was a piece of cake. The house has everything you need and was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about this property and we can't wait to come back!!”
