“Lovely large cabin in the woods. Good view of the mountain across the way. The stars are very bright and beautiful at night. The cabin itself was well furnished for our large group. We especially appreciated the pool table and the numerous balconies. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils. Not far from Luray if you need supplies.”

“We loved the place! It was perfect for our family of 13! Four different families! The property was great and swimming area at the lake was perfect for our 5 grandkids! Most likely will plan a future family vacation at Silver Sands!”

“A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging.……

“The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. ”

This lake Anna house provided us all of the amenities that we could hope for, with a group of 14, including children ranging from 1 - 13. The sizable kitchen and dining room are great for large groups, and having a living room room upstairs and downstairs also helps create spacious and different environments. The variety of games downstairs is absolutely amazing for adults and……

“Great location and great outdoor space. Home had plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids with enough pillows and linens. Could be better stocked. Clean. We fished, swam, floated and boated and set up a movie by the fire pit. We had a great time! There is so much waterfront here. Bring your own ANYTHING you need for cooking (salt, pepper, olive oil), grill utensils (they supplied plenty of propane), baking sheets, large serving bowls, laundry and dishwasher tabs, oven mits, bug spray, “pool”……
