“A spacious, cosy, well equipped property in a beautiful area. The electric hob was a bit of a trial but we managed it in the end. We visited Munster Castle and the birds of prey exhibitions were fantastic. We did some lovely walks in the area, one of which was direct from the house. We would definitely use this property again as it was ideal for a large group family stay.”

“The property was excellent, everything you need for a comfortable stay, the double bed was very comfortable and warm. The only thing we found it was a bit far away to walk to the bar/restaurant, for our age group we are late 70 and early 80s.”

“Gorgeous views and light from the substantial enclosed garden at the back. Good for sunsets. House heated quickly and is well equipped. Utility room was great for our third week on the road, we didn't have to unpack unnecessarily! Ideally placed for drives into Lake District, Yorkshire and Bowland. ”

“A group of walking friends who really enjoyed a fabulous stay at this clean, comfortable, warm and very well equipped apartment. Lovely peaceful location with great views from the lounge and bedroom/balcony. Struggled a little to find the road up to it on first arrival, was fine thereafter. Made use of the pool/jacuzzi & sauna facilities too, which although small, certainly helped ease the muscles after a days walking. Recommend a stay here. ”

“We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. Floor to ceiling Windows and and a gabled roof gave stunning views down the valley to the estuary from both floors. The accommodation was modern and stylish and even had its own sauna. The onsite pool was free to use and warm and clean, a good size. Slight hiccup at check in was sorted out well and we were allowed to stay an extra night in……
