“We were made to feel welcome from the start to the end of our three night stay. Our bed was so comfortable, it was a welcome return after a busy day exploring Aberdeenshire. The ensuite facilities were very spacious. Room included small fridge, microwave, TV, electric blanket, armchairs and hospitality tray. Loved the drawing room with the open fire where we sat and played games. Breakfast was outstanding, the choices were amazing and set you up for the day. We didn't like saying goodbye,……

“Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

“I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. “The Maryculter House is a short drive out from the city with plenty of on site parking. The rooms are spacious and many offer breathtaking views of the river Dee . The staff are helpful and attentive especially the restaurant staff who are exceptional. This hotel is very popular for weddings so it can often be busy but still nice a quiet . Overall a great hotel with great staff and the best breakfast ever . ”
