“We booked this last minute and didn’t know what to expect. It was our first time to the area. We were pleasantly surprised. The room/condo was right in the beach with beautiful views of the ocean from our deck. Only a few steps away from the beach. The tennis/pickleball court was in excellent condition, with good equipment! We did have to buy our own pickleballs (not a big deal)and enjoyed it every day. The pool was going through what looks like some much needed renovations. Not a big deal, we……

“The property appeared a little run down with the outside deck areas and some needed repairs inside. We were greeted by the manager to whom we expressed concerns with the dirty, pollen cover closed in porch and broken outside furniture which was also reported to the manager. It did not appear the closed in deck was power washed as indicated by the manager who later stated it would be done in May. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels and dishwasher soap due to limited or no supply……

“Property was simple and clean. Pool and hot tub were a huge plus and in excellent condition. Location was great as it's a short bike ride to Food Lion and several ice cream shops. Neighborhood is quiet. Only negative is they wouldn't let us check in before 4 pm even though was no one there the day prior. With us arriving to town around noon it would have been nice to be able to get to the house even 2 hours earlier in order for us to get settled in. Also wouldn't let us check out an hour later……

“Our family and friends have visited Sandbridge, VA during the third week of August during each of the last few years. Calming Waters was perfectly sized for our group, with a beautiful pool and direct access to the channels/bay. It’s located on a secluded street and just a short walk To that beautiful beach. ”

TV in living room has a great sound bar that served as a wonderful Bluetooth speaker, and another massive TV in the bedroom for lazing around if you catch a bit of bad weather. Great little deck out front with views to the North, East and South, and if you catch a clear night, the heavens above. Star-filled skies that will astound. ”

“Property was as described, just feet from private beach access. Morning sunrises you can see from the main living area window or step outside on the deck for an even better view. We watched dolphins and pelicans every day from the beach facing deck, flew kites and watched an incredible kite surfing duo put on quite a show one evening right at the beach in front of the property. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house had a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and even a crockpot. I……

“Nice location close to the beach access. Home was relatively new and had just about everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Saw plenty of horses and everyone enjoyed the adventure of driving on the beach. Hope to stay here again in the summer season. ”
