“Nice and friendly welcome and on arrival impressed with the bedroom however on checking bedding a dried blood stain on the fitted sheet which was clear to see and in clear view (must have been seen when making the bed up) and also a dirty stained pillowcase was evident. Reception informed and immediately resolved the issue. They also offered a free drink as an apology. Tv remote required new batteries but was advised the sensor was hid behind the dressing table mirror and although we moved it,……

“Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time ”

“Tidy hotel the other side of Llangollen which resulted in a hairaising approach in our low slung car along very wiggly roads (we found an easier B road via Chirk later! ) This hotel is situated in a quiet village and we slept well both nights. “What a find base camp Snowdonia was. Very easy entry and check-in, as we arrived late and it was dark. The bedroom was very clean and the individual bunks with curtains made it very private, even though we were sharing. The whole place was very secure.”
