“Pretty hotel and reminded me of a castle. Overall okay experience. Beds were really uncomfortable and our toilet did not work. When we informed the front desk they said they didn’t have anyone that could come fix it until the next day and to use the ones in the lobby. ”

“Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access”

“We had nine people gathered from 4 states for my son's graduation and needed a place to stay and gather. The house is lovely and we all had a nice place to gather and enjoy each other's company. Some amenities were missing, it was just the very basic items like bathroom towels. In previous VRBO rentals, they have had more supplies like salt and pepper, hand towels, and kitchen towels.
