We had a chance to check out the historic John Burroughs site (what a view!) and bought fresh farm produce and meats at a nearby D & D Farm. Geoffrey and Powell has everything you would need during the stay in a top notch shape.”

“We had a great stay here! The host was incredibly responsive and also had a lot of proactive communication and gestures. We’d mentioned we were getting in late, and wonderful and thoughtful accommodations were made for that. We loved the puzzles & puzzle board, since it rained. Lots of kids books and legos, too. The kitchen was clean and well stocked! Would recommend or return, hopefully for a longer and more dry time. The ONLY downside to me was the NY-23 traffic noise from the front,……

“For anyone who wants a quiet getaway in the beautiful hills of upstate NY or who wants to avoid the crowded antiseptic hotels of Oneonta if traveling for baseball, you can't do better than The Farmhouse. There is more than enough equipment and space for your family to be comfortably fed and sheltered. “The farmhouse is absolutely adorable. It has been fully restored and is very comfortable. It has all the modern conveniences you could ask for. We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back in Cooperstown, we will definitely stay there again. The host was very helpful and always answered my emails immediately. ”
