“We had a lovely few days at this beautiful property while we explored Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. House was well equipped with every convenience. Would happily stay again. ”

“ We absolutely loved our time at Escape lake house in Maine! The setting was gorgeous and cannot be beat. The view is never the same and we loved watching the changing light on the water. The house is as described in the listing and the primary bedroom and bathroom are great. Note that one of the “bathrooms” is actually in a side entry room with the washer/dryer and extra stove, and is not super private. Also, 2 of the showers are very small stand-up showers. But, that said, for just 2 of us,……

Plenty of room, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. if you are looking for accommodations for a large family, privacy, and beautiful scenery this is your place. our host Eric and his wife have created a beautiful home away from home. My family and I left there with plans to return. We will definitely be booking this home in the future.”

“We stayed 4 nights at this awesome home with convenient access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room and very quiet location. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. The bedrooms were quiet and very comfortable. Bonus; we has an awesome viewing of the Northern Lights! The property manager was very responsive to questions as well. I would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!”

“Enjoyed our stay, used the fire pit and back deck a good bit. A lil drive to everything which we knew before arriving. There was a little road noise during the day but zero issue at night. Had fun with the chickens that came to visit :)”

“There aren’t enough good words to describe this house: amazing, beautiful, stunning, perfection, spotless… and more. It started walking in and finding a basket of freshly made popovers, a jar of Maine blueberry jam, and a card with our names on it with a handwritten note from the host welcoming us.There is a 12-14 page binder with everything about the house such as how to operate appliances, the weekly generator test time, local grocery stores, restaurants, and any other detail you could think……
