“This establishment is within walking distance of many historic sites in the old town. The staff at Morris House was very friendly and informative. They gave us a map of the historic district and surrounding area and told us which sites were the best. The property was built in 1787, and though it has been well cared for, it is very old! If you want sparkling and new, this is not your place. However, if you want a unique place to stay with comfy beds, this is a good place! The rooms are……

“Such a cute place to stay with an excellent location in Old City. Everything was within walking distance, the building was immaculately clean, and the unit itself was adorable. the only downside would be parking, but we didnt need to park so no complaints there.”

“Property was very clean. Just as pictured. Comfortable bed with large closet. There is a sofa in living area but it is not a sleeper sofa. Kitchen clean with basic supplies. Easy secure entry to apartment on second floor. There is a lot of “city” noise if that is not something that you are used to. Otherwise it is a great spot! ”

“I stayed in the hotel with my family during Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. The hotel is clearly a nice choice! The rooms are not big, but nice and clean and cozy. The location is unbeatable. You can walk to Indepdence Hall, China Town, Macy's, the City Hall. Everything is closeby. And you can easily have a nice breakfast or lunch at Reading Terminal Market. Definitely recommend the hotel. I hope to have the chance of visiting Philly again and will definitely choose the hotel again. ”

“The suite was spacious and clean. Good location for me as I was able to walk to venue for a show. Only complaint is I had to call to get sheets for the sofa bed. Feel this should be in the room. However, as soon as I called (at 2 am), it was delivered to the room. Overall very nice place to stay.”
