“I found this beautiful place when looking for a short one night stay to visit surrounding areas during the day. The communication between the property owner was excellent! We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, saw some deer pass through and listened to all of the birds nearby. Great experience and the option for a one night stay was a huge plus!! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Little Black Cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both the bed and the sleeper sofa were incredibly comfortable. The cabin offered a peaceful and quiet retreat, while still being conveniently close to stores and family. An added bonus was the electric car charger, which wasn't mentioned in the listing but was greatly appreciated!”

“We absolutely loved our stay...just one negative...the beds were very uncomfortable. When sitting on them, it sounded like they were going to break. We could feel the springs in our back and we sank to the middle. Rolling over was very loud. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. We were there for a Select Softball Tournament for my daughter. She has mild scoliosis but usually has no problems with hotel stays. Her back and sides were hurting after sleeping on these beds. “We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Cabin. The lot was spacious, and it was an easy walk to the lake. The house was well stocked and clean. There was an abundance of games in the lower level with plenty of oudoor seating. Kristen responded quickly to questions prior to our arrival-easy communication. We will be back!!”

“My wife and I like to stay out away from Bryan/College Station when attending TAMU football games to avoid the traffic and crowds. The Cottage is in a nice location in the country. “It’s a lovely spot to unwind and disconnect. The property was impeccably clean, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a drive from Austin, so Bastrop is the best place for food or groceries. There’s no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal retreat from reality. The only downside was that during our stay we heard some loud music from a nearby bar, which was audible from the cabana. It was manageable, but light sleepers might find it a bit disruptive. Thank you for the cookies! ”
