“What a delightful place Shrewsbury is! Hotel is really well located right in the center of town and is very historic. The entran e to the accom is shabby but my room (No 2) was nice and comfy enough. Positives: clean tidy comfortable room, very friendly and accommodating staff, was offered packed lunch in lieu of breakfast which was great. I also appreciated the refund for the unused night which was very kind. Not so positive: it was impossible to get any wifi in my room. No hairdryer in……

“Great location. The hotel is almost next door to the railway station. The room is clean, warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that there is no lift and the staircase is very narrow, which made carrying four suitcases upstairs a real challenge.”
