“We loved our stay at this property! It was so clean and comfortable and felt very homey! The view of Belfast Bay from the screened porch was the icing on the cake. We prepared a lot of our own meals, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The home was in the just-right location for our explorations of Midcoast and Down East Maine.”

“The home was better than expected. It's one of the few times that photos did not do the beautifully appointed home and perfect location enough justice. I booked the home for a girlfriend gathering - we all wished we had husbands and kids along to enjoy this property and location. There was a small snafu with water that had nothing to do with the owners - that said, they were readily available to help remedy in any way. Communication was top notch as were Sue's thoughtful recommendations for us……

“In Maine visiting UMaine Orono. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. House had plenty of room, 2nd floor bed was comfortable. Close to campus, restaurants, and the view of the lake was lovely. Some aesthetic aspects of the home appeared unfinished/in progress, but this did not negatively affect our stay. Thank you!!”

“The home made for perfect stay for our family. The options for housing in this part of Maine are limited and this home was a very pleasant surprise. It made for perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We also discovered several hiking trails in the area and enjoyed the fall colors. Leanne (the owner) was very responsive and helpful.”

“Nice home, with an average view of the river. No A/C, which I learned was pretty common in Maine. The home got pretty warm a few afternoons, where A/C would've been nice. Guest bathroom shower has no hot water and TV requires a Harvard degree, we finally figured it out Day 2. I've listed all the negatives, but it really isn't a bad home. Great kitchen with all the necessities, including a Lobster Pot!! We ran a mile down the road to Hannafords and bought dinner to cook at home, 3 of the 4……

“We were in town for a family wedding and it was great to rent a house with my own family and my husband's brother and his family. The size really allowed us to be together when we wanted to and separate when we wanted alone time. The convenience to downtown Belfast was great - a simple 5 minute drive. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and everyone else said that they slept well. The neighborhood is very quiet and the views from all rooms can't be beat! Two small complaints……
