“In Maine visiting UMaine Orono. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. House had plenty of room, 2nd floor bed was comfortable. Close to campus, restaurants, and the view of the lake was lovely. Some aesthetic aspects of the home appeared unfinished/in progress, but this did not negatively affect our stay. Thank you!!”

“The home made for perfect stay for our family. The options for housing in this part of Maine are limited and this home was a very pleasant surprise. It made for perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We also discovered several hiking trails in the area and enjoyed the fall colors. Leanne (the owner) was very responsive and helpful.”

“The property is as described and is perfect for a large group. There is plenty of common space but also large enough that if you are looking for some alone time you can have it. The property is very large with several out buildings and a dock at the river.”

“Easy house to have a nice time with friends. Very comfortable & well equipped, except for the kitchen, which could use more cooking & serving pieces. But the basics provided were good. We were four people for a few days and I wouldn’t have more due to the lack of a second toilet. Note a neighbor has a bunch of chickens & that’s what you hear, rather than the loons. Otherwise plenty nearby to do, see, and eat, and of course, the lake. ”

“We loved the house! Would definitely stay here again. Lots of kitchen utensils and serving dishes for meals. We like to cook. Easy access to center of town by foot. My only complaint is the house, in general, wasn’t that clean. Dust bunnies everywhere. I think that whoever cleaned it focused on bathrooms and kitchen only. The side door in kitchen, that lead to small porch, was broken and was a real tripping hazard. So grateful we found it at the beginning of our stay as my son is visually……

“The house was a perfect place for the 10 of us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The 3 master suites worked out very well for our 2 adult daughters and spouses. Our 4 grand children had their choices of bedrooms and had plenty of space to play. The lower level theater room had ample floor space for games and watching iPads. We loved the spacious & well equipped kitchen. The large kitchen table easily accommodated the families at mealtime.”

“We came up for our daughter’s wedding and needed a spot to relax and reenergize between setting up, decorating, rehearsing and the big day. SugarMaple provided just that.
