“We loved our stay at this property! It was so clean and comfortable and felt very homey! The view of Belfast Bay from the screened porch was the icing on the cake. We prepared a lot of our own meals, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The home was in the just-right location for our explorations of Midcoast and Down East Maine.”

“The home was better than expected. It's one of the few times that photos did not do the beautifully appointed home and perfect location enough justice. I booked the home for a girlfriend gathering - we all wished we had husbands and kids along to enjoy this property and location. There was a small snafu with water that had nothing to do with the owners - that said, they were readily available to help remedy in any way. Communication was top notch as were Sue's thoughtful recommendations for us……

“In Maine visiting UMaine Orono. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. House had plenty of room, 2nd floor bed was comfortable. Close to campus, restaurants, and the view of the lake was lovely. Some aesthetic aspects of the home appeared unfinished/in progress, but this did not negatively affect our stay. Thank you!!”

“Conveniently located near MMA. Nicely equipped, clean house. So appreciate that the house is pet friendly. Sometimes worry that pet friendly places will smell like dog ( pet friendly hotel rooms are the worst). Not this house. Very well maintained. Yard and rocky beach are beautiful. Very easy check-in. Loved the back deck, stargazing at night was beautiful. Lots of wildlife; saw deer every evening and an eagle. Thank you for a great family stay. ”

“The home made for perfect stay for our family. The options for housing in this part of Maine are limited and this home was a very pleasant surprise. It made for perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We also discovered several hiking trails in the area and enjoyed the fall colors. Leanne (the owner) was very responsive and helpful.”
