“Place is not too old and great space for pur group. We liked that it has a lot of utensils and cooking ware. Very close to a sledding and snowboarding resort. The beach access is too far from the place.”

“Such a great find ON the lake! So much that we just booked it again. It felt like home in so many ways and just wonderful to have the deck with lake view for morning coffee and quick walk down the steps to hang out on the lake after daily activities. The place had all the essentials and the host communicated well when we had a hiccup. Additional instructions about trash process for people not familiar with the area would help, as well as advanced reminder about operating the bear wires. We……

“Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely.”

“It is a great property and the host was very helpful and easy to work with. There are plenty of places for people to sleep so good for large groups. We had 2 couples and the rest were 20-23 year olds who were happy to share rooms and sleep on bunk beds. The only hard thing for 2 couple is there is only one bedroom with an ”

“Home was acceptable and overall nice, but there were some oddities that could be easily addressed that would have made this stay better. The kitchen tools were all haphazardly stowed, so it was rather confusing finding equipment needed to cook our meals. The downstairs bathroom didn’t have a soap dispenser, just a large bottle of soap refill. There weren’t any shower supplies like soap, shampoo, or conditioner, which is a first. The vacuum and electric lid for the garbage didn’t properly work.……

“Over all experience the family of 12, had such a great time!! The home was very cozy & cabin feels exactly what we wanted. The home was stocked on games, which was a huge plus as we had planned a family game night. We did have a minor set back with check in as the home wasn’t ready, but the cleaning service people were nice & apologetic. It didn’t affect at all as the outside area was covered in snow so the kids got an early start with snow ball fights & building snowman. We will return! ”
