“Excellent and responsive communications with the host. The property is centrally located with lakeside view. Older 2 story home with steep staircases for entry access and interior 2nd floor bedrooms. Master bedroom bathroom is spacious. All other bathrooms are small but functional. The kitchen is well equipped with flatware, utensils and cookware.”

“The property was clean and comfortable. We loved that we were close to kings beach. ”

“The cottage was nicely furnished, but was not cleaned very well. It had everything you could need. We got snow and that was great to see. Beds were comfy and fireplace was great! Location was great.”

“This was our 3rd time returning to the property and as always, were very pleased with our entire stay. We also really liked the upgrades since our last stay (the giant family couch with recliners were so comfy!). Mike has been a very responsive and accommodating host - we had a few hiccups which were resolved swiftly and professionally. Thank you again for having us and hope to stay again soon!”

“ We really loved our stay and highly recommend if you like old school charming lakefront homes! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms worked very well for our group. We loved hanging out on the fabulous deck with great views of the lake. The jacuzzi is a great bonus as well as the steps down to the small deck on the water. Even though it's older, it's well loved and you can just tell there have been a lot of family memories made here.Very well equipped kitchen and newer appliances.The lake……

“In summary i would say we got bang for buck. We stayed towards the end of the summer so didnt have to deal with snow but the house was great no issues at all. It has entertainment galore for kids from books to board games to video games. Also only being a stones throw away from northstar village was great. ”
