There is road and train noise you can read abt in the reviews and see location on the map but there are nice fans in each bedroom and we ran ours on low and it helped. The street is quaint and adjacent to newly developed river walking trails. The historic nature of the property is cool and helps appreciate some of the space issues - tight front bathroom but also applaud the modern inclusions - spacious full kitchen and dining room! Side yard nice for pups! Enjoy……

“Ginger is the most thoughtful vacation home host I’ve ever met. From the moment we got there to we left, she made sure we were comfortable. The place has amazing lake view and it was really nice staring at the view. Kitchen is well stocked, and everything was clean and lplenty of towels in the bathrooms. The location is also perfect, 3min from kings beach, 5min to safeway, and 20min to northstar resort. We’ll definitely go back.”

“House was nice, comfortable and clean. Need more forks😂 only have 8 total so lots of washing before meals and snacks. Front door entry was difficult at best, code is long and directions were not clear. Lots of steps up to house and inside, hard for anyone with mobility issues. ”

“The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six adults and four children. The house has gorgeous views and is close to everything. There’s a little trail at the end of the cul de sac and it was our own winter wonderland. Definitely would stay again!”
