“Our visit was superb from start to finish. Great location. Room was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast tasty and ample. The hosts were friendly, very approachable, couldn't do enough for us. Can't recommend Brantfell enough. We'll definitely be back. ”

Breakfast was very good and all cooked to order with a hige range to choose from. Rooms are lovely and its in a great location. free parking too which is a big plus point.”

“Fabulous b&b recently bought by new owners who were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious…full Cumbrian, vegetarian or breakfast sandwiches all accompanied by fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and toast. All produce locally sourced which i love. We had single rooms which were small but more than adequate in size as a base. Lovely crisp, high quality bedding and luxury pure lakes toiletries.”

“Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.”

“My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. ”

“Lovely hotel, although sometimes waiting time to be served was a little frustrating - standing at the bar at breakfast with nobody else there and one member of staff at the other end of the bar on their phone isn’t a good look. ”
