“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The services are as described, the breakfast options are extensive and my room is spacious and clean. I appreciated the fact it is located within walking distance to the centre, but away from any noise to ensure a quiet night's sleep. If I'm in Dorchester again, I would certainly stay again. “The hotel was welcoming and the room was spacious, and comfortable, if a little stuffy. It was at the top of the building and the windows would only open a little. The room would have been less stuffy had the windows been opened before we arrived, and the blinds drawn. It was clean, and the linen was all good. All in all, a pleasant stay.”

Both rooms were freshly painted and had been thoughtfully decorated.. However, neither bathroom had a shelf - awkward - and one room had only an overhead light. Extra lamp could not be provided on request. No iron was available. More seriously, my second room could only be secured from the inside, meaning the room was not secured if I……
