“With our family, we spent several days at this place between Christmas and New Year's. A wonderful place to stay and the hosts were very easy to contact and were very helpful.”

“This property was very clean, and as other reviews stated, the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was good, and they responded positively to our suggestions for more accommodations for large groups such as extra bath towels and kitchen cloths and towels. We also suggested a few folding chairs and a high chair, since the table cannot comfortably seat more than about ten (there are a few seats at the island as well though). “Overall it was nice, the only thing is a few broken items: handle to one of the patio doors was missing, trash can in the kitchen was broken, it would be nice to have extra comfortables or blankets as the house does get pretty cold due to the old windows. In addition, the fire place does need looked at as it appears the vent does not work so we couldn’t use it. ”

“We were looking for a location where our whole family could convene for Christmas. Harriet is a wonderful host and we loved our time together at this very nice house. ”

“Overall we were very happy with our stay at Swan Lodge in Saugatuck. We were able to stay near family for the Christmas holiday. The lodge felt like we were part of a Hallmark Christmas movie and we loved the big windows looking onto the nature preserve. There were a couple of minor hiccups (driveway was not cleared and a little icy, and the water in the upstairs tub came out rusty), but the managers were responsive to our feedback. ”
