“Great stay in Santa Cruz at the Capri Motel. It’s a simple no frills place but in a very convenient location at a fantastic price. On a busy intersection during the day which makes for such interesting people & action watching. At night late when sleeping it quieted down. The motel is really in a great location. Park your car, unpack and go have some fun. The San Lorenzo River runs right next to the street and there’s a trail you can take to the boardwalk or over to East Cliff side or the……

“Overall would recommend this place due to proximity, cost and amenities. Strict check in at 3pm and 11am checkout which is typical of most hotels we stay with. They offer early/late check in/out for additional cost. They also have very limited parking so they only allow 1 car per room free and charge for extra vehicles. There is street parking and its free after 8pm until 8am. The rooms themselves are small but we only really used it for sleeping purposes so it suited us just fine. The bed……
