“I loved everything about Base Camp! It’s right across from the lake, right in the heart of Tahoe City, and an easy 10 mins drive to Alpine Meadows. Rooms were spotless, quiet, and the staff fantastic. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet, safe, clean place to stay while in Tahoe. ”

“We booked a last minute room here as we were snowboarding at Palisades. 15 mins away with no traffic (about 25 in the traffic at 4-5pm). The room had a bedroom with a king bed and a sofa in the main room. It just fit my family of 5, but with 2 teens on the sofa pullout and my 9yo daughter in the king bed with us. Overall, it functioned well enough for a great price. It's next door to Safeway, CVS, and many food options, which was convenient when it snowed heavily and didn't want to drive. The……

“Great place to stay. Walking distance to everything. ”

“This wonderful house was super cozy and just perfect for our group. Everything was clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for a lot of the snowfest events that took place right down the street. Where this house is you are right next to some of the best bars and restaurants that all the locals hang out at and it's all within walking distance. The hot tub was the nicest way to end the day after all the festivities! We had a fantastic time and hope to be back next year! ”
