“The hotel is beautiful and the farm was gorgeous to walk/cycle around. Breakfast service to get a cup of tea was a little slow occasionally, one day waited 30 mins before we got the tea, then milk and then sugar. The food was all beautifully presented. “This has to be one of my favourite hotels ever. Richard Branson does not disappoint with his focus on customer service and the details that elevate your stay. “The Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. I’ve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram can’t be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. “The hotel has just been renovated and you can really tell, everything was beautiful and fresh. The room was lovely, roomy and the bed was very comfortable and it was a pleasant surprise to have a mini-bar with complimentary drinks included. “Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum.
