“Arrived in the Bar for a quick check in and a guided tour of how things worked in the room. The room was modern and clean. Large shower which worked correctly. kitchen next door with a big fridge and a carton of fresh proper milk. A kettle was provided in the room. So you only needed to collect your milk when making a brew. Nice outside area for enjoying the evening sun. Large decent private carpark with easy access. “The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.”

“I cannot praise the owners highly enough. Rather than call us a taxi in order to travel to a restaurant which was over 5 miles away, the owner gave us a lift in his own car. “Despite the proprietor being busy serving in the pub, he greeted me, booked me in and directed me to my room. He requested and noted the time I required breakfast the following day. Next morning, he greeted me and directed me to the breakfast room, when he took my order and served up a perfectly cooked meal within a most acceptable time. An excellent experience.”
