“Hotel was great on check in, we arrived 5 mins before the kitchen closed and the last checking in said they would still serve us. Food very nice. Following morning we got up to have showers. The shower was a dribble and cold, so much so I ended up washing my hair using the ice bucket in sink. “Edwin was fantastic, he made us feel very welcome from the moment we got there. The property is beautiful and a short walk to a lovely lakeside look out where we watched the sunset (Edwin's recommendation). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. “Great old hotel with beautiful location on the water. A bit short staffed when we were there, and our room was not cleaned during our 3 day stay. “The room was confortable with everything needed. I expecially appreciated the fully equipped coffe/tea corner. Excellent position, close to the universy quarters with lots of pubs/restaurants/cafes/parks and a short walk to the city centre. The only suggestions I can give is to have a more confortable mattress and to oil the bathroom door that screeches noisily.”
