“This is a formerly rustic but now beautifully renovated cottage on a dock overlooking Cowichan Bay. We were two couples and loved our stay in this remarkable time-passed-us-by neighbourhood. The only two issues were a double bed in the 2nd bedroom rather than the advertised queen and a door key pad that was hard to relock, seemingly an alignment problem.Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed this space and served up a great meal in the kitchen. We were sorry to not have put the clean dishes away……

“The space was welcoming with yummy goodies. Great decor. Very cosy. Blankets and pillows to snuggle up by the fire. Quiet country neighbourhood, but with shops, groceries and parks nearby. Hot tub!! Well laid out kitchen with all the things you need to make a meal. Desk area for working and great wifi connection. Bed was comfortable.”

“The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. A note was left for us saying that the……
