“This was a lovely hotel, with helpful and welcoming staff. We arrived a little late as the satnav ran out of charge, and the hotel was not well signposted, even though we stopped twice for directions. It was about 2040 when we arrived and restaurant service stopped at 2100, but reception rang through to say we were on our way and we enjoyed an excellent meal, most welcome after another 4 hour drive south down the M6 and M5 in heavy traffic. Room was reasonably spacious and adequate,……
