“This is a beautiful property and well worth a visit. Despite my train arriving after check-in, it was very easy to access my room. The room was a good size and very clean. The hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. If you use public transportation, be aware that the property is near Pulpit Hill, so there is some steep walking. “I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. ”

“This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The condition of the room was extremely poor and absolutely not worth the price. What was most unacceptable was that the room I was given looked nothing like the photos shown on the booking website. Instead of a standard room on the main floors, I was placed in one of two attic rooms, which were dark, cramped, and completely unsuitable for use as hotel accommodation.
