“The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well……

“We only had three days to pack in as much outside time as we could, and this lovely house was a perfect base. It was an easy drive to Shenandoah National Park, Harrisonburg and Grand Caverns. We cooked for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed. We grilled outside and had a lovely fire in the fire pit. Everything was wonderful!”

“We came for two nights to escape NOVA for a bit with our kids and dog and it was so lovely! We started with lunch and wine at the Tasting Room and it was delicious, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, and the decor and grounds were really cute. Guy let us check in early as the house was ready and it was so gorgeously decorated. It really felt like a home, not a sterile rental. Our family didn’t want to leave. “This setting was absolutely bucolic, and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were stunning. But it seemed as if the owner was not ready for our visit. We arrived on a very chilly day, and the heaters had been turned on, but not long enough to warm up the cottage. We actually had to sleep in our coats it was so cold that first night. It took almost 24 hrs for the cottage to feel comfortable. It appeared that we were the first guests of the year, and the cottage had not been deep cleaned since……
